It is very cute but barely fits her folder for school, meaning you can put it in there but it sticks out and you cannot pull the drawstrings closed. Also , the pocket is very cheap plastic-like material. I expected the backpack to be a lot more durable.. it seems more cheaply made than I had hoped for. With this backpack, she can place her little goodies in the backpack and carry them around. This backpack is sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. It is easy to open and close, but it still does not open too easily so that the contents can spill out easily. My granddaughter loves this backpack , and that is the most important aspect.
